What we collect
If you request the free field manual or subscribe, we collect the email address you submit. Our hosting and email providers may process basic technical records needed for security and delivery, such as timestamps, IP-derived logs, and browser information. Signup forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, sent the form.
If you buy a product, we also keep: the email you bought with, what you bought and when, and the status of any subscription, as reported to us by the payment provider. We never receive or store your card details. When you sign in to the member area we keep short-lived sign-in links and session records, and we record which lessons you have opened so the course can show your progress.
Why we use it
We use your email to deliver the requested resource, send related educational material and build updates, maintain consent records, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Legal basis. Newsletter and build updates: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing. Purchases, member access, and course progress: performance of the contract with you. Security, abuse prevention, and understanding which pages bring subscribers: our legitimate interest in running a safe and working site. Accounting and tax records: legal obligation. Optional analytics: your consent (see Cookies and analytics).
Providers and retention
We use these providers: MailerLite for newsletter email; Resend for member sign-in email; Cloudflare for hosting, the member database, file storage, and Turnstile; Google for analytics, only with your consent. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which sells to you as merchant of record and processes your payment and billing data under its own privacy policy. Their own privacy terms also apply.
We retain subscription records while you are subscribed and as reasonably necessary for suppression, security, accounting, or legal obligations. Member account, purchase, and course-progress records are kept while you have access to a product; purchase records are then kept only as long as accounting and tax law requires. Course progress is deleted when your account is deleted.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe using the link in any email. You may also request access, correction, deletion, or information about processing by contacting [email protected]. You may also object to processing based on our legitimate interest, ask us to restrict processing, or ask for a copy of your data in a portable format. Some records may be retained where required by law or needed to honor an unsubscribe request. If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz) or to the data protection authority where you live.
Cookies and analytics
We use three consent categories. Necessary storage is
always active because the site needs it to remember your privacy
choice and, for members, keep you signed in. The
bba_consent record stores the date, consent version, and
your Analytics and Marketing choices for up to 12 months.
Analytics is optional. If you allow it, Google
Analytics 4 may set _ga and _ga_<id>
cookies for up to two years so we can understand how people find and
use the site. Campaign values may also be stored under
bba_utm_* in your browser's session storage until that
browser session ends. Marketing is optional and is
currently empty: no marketing tool loads through this category.
Google provides Google Analytics 4 and may process analytics data in
the United States. Google states that relevant transfers are covered
by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its other published
safeguards. No optional analytics script or request loads unless you
consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through
Cookie settings. Withdrawing
Analytics stops further analytics collection and removes the
_ga cookies set for this site.
When you submit a signup form, we record available campaign-source details and the referring domain together with the subscription. We use these details to understand which pages and campaigns bring subscribers to Built by Agents. They are retained with the subscription record while you are subscribed and afterward only as reasonably necessary for suppression, security, accounting, or legal obligations. Campaign values from the current page can be submitted with the form even if you do not allow Analytics; without consent, they are not stored in your browser beyond that open page.
International processing
Providers may process information in other countries under their published safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
